The first thing that we always look at is the website. So many people have an outdated website, and it will be immediately noticeable to any potential customers. An outdated website will turn off many more people than you might expect, and there are a few reasons for it.
First of all, if it doesn’t function on mobile, the customer will immediately close out. Secondly, if the site looks very outdated, then the legitimacy of your business may come into question.
First of all, try to trim them down. A lot of websites are way too busy, which can be a pain for customers to navigate. We try to have focus when we create websites. We create focused CTAs and focused copyright.
Second of all, your website should be built with something that makes mobile integration very easy. Something like Bootstrap or WordPress is what we prefer depending on the business.
Some of the biggest mistakes we see on social media are people using it solely for advertising. You need to make posts that bring people in. If people like your products, they will just go buy them. Social media is for reaching those who do not know about your product or your business and showing them, “Hey, look, we rock.”
It’s also important to focus on the correct platforms. You don’t want to spend all of your time advertising on a social media platform that doesn’t bring any customers in. Keep track of where your customers come from, and hit that platform hard.
